In this post, we are going to talk about one of the more basic factors in choosing the best towel warmer: Battery Powered or Electric Towel Warmers. What are the pros and cons of each?
It may be obvious but I would be remiss if I didn’t at least mention that electric towel warmers are plugged into your power outlet in your bathroom or house, while a battery powered warmer is more portable option because it does not need to be plugged in all of the time and can be great for winter nights by the hot tub or your mobile massage business!
Electric Towel Warmers
There are two main types of what are referred to as electric towel warmers:
1.) Plugin Towel Warmers. These are just like they sound and plug right in to the wall. (We knew you knew, but needed to explain it any way.)
2.) Hardwired Towel Warmers. These will require you to hire an electrician and are much more involved in the installation process.

Plugins are the most common type of towel warmer that you will find in homes and spas across the country.
The things you’ll like about plugin towel warmers, (the Pros of Plugin Towle Warmers):

What's Better: Battery Powered or Electric Operated Towel Warmers
There are very few options available for battery powered towel warmers and most will only allow you to get one, maybe two uses out of a charge. They are great for in home spa services and your outdoor adventures.
Battery operated towel warmers are generally small and fairly easy to transport so that you can pack it with you to a remote hot springs in the mountains, take it camping or a surf trip to the beach.
Pros of battery powered are portability and the main detractor is that you only will get a single use out of each charge.
